Refund Policy
Last updated: April 4, 2026
1. Overview
tiix is operated by WhoTheFolk, LLC (“WhoTheFolk,” “we,” “us”). tiix serves as a ticketing platform connecting event organizers (“Organizers”) with ticket buyers (“Buyers”). Because we act as an intermediary, refund eligibility and policies are generally determined by the Organizer of each event, not by tiix.
2. Organizer-Set Refund Policies
Each Organizer is responsible for setting and communicating their own refund policy. Refund terms may vary by event and may include conditions such as deadlines, partial refunds, or no-refund policies. Buyers are encouraged to review the Organizer’s refund terms before completing a purchase.
Where an Organizer has published a refund policy, tiix will facilitate refund processing in accordance with that policy. Refund requests should be directed to the Organizer in the first instance.
3. Canceled Events
If an event is canceled by the Organizer and not rescheduled, Buyers are entitled to a full refund of the ticket face value. tiix will process such refunds automatically when an Organizer marks an event as canceled on the Platform, or upon notification of cancellation.
Service fees may or may not be refundable in the case of event cancellation, depending on the circumstances and applicable law.
4. Postponed or Rescheduled Events
If an event is postponed or rescheduled, tickets typically remain valid for the new date. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled event, eligibility for a refund will depend on the Organizer’s policy.
5. tiix Service Fees
tiix service fees are generally non-refundable. In cases where a refund is issued due to event cancellation by the Organizer or a platform error, service fees may be refunded at our discretion or as required by applicable law.
6. Fraudulent Purchases
If you believe a ticket purchase was made fraudulently on your payment method, please contact us immediately at support@tiix.io. We will investigate and work with our payment processor to resolve the issue. You may also contact your bank or credit card company to initiate a chargeback.
7. How Refunds Are Processed
Approved refunds are processed through Stripe, our payment processor, and returned to the original payment method. Refunds typically take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your financial institution.
8. Disputes
If you believe you are entitled to a refund that has been denied, you may contact us at support@tiix.io and we will review your case. We will make reasonable efforts to mediate between Buyers and Organizers, but the ultimate refund decision rests with the Organizer unless otherwise required by law.
9. Applicable Law
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws. Certain jurisdictions require refunds under specific circumstances regardless of the Organizer’s stated policy, and we will comply with such requirements.
